Handouts Presentations

Since I started at the Clinique de Genolier in 1997, I’ve seen a revolution in the diagnostic techniques, care and treatment that we offer our patients.

Rheumatology has made the leap to an ultra-modern medical discipline, with enormous advances made, in particular with respect to conditions such as rehumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis, which typically lead to the patient becoming disabled.

Nowadays, rheumatology has a lot to offer to its patients. It can survey, study, explain and guide its patients as needed for their care, for example referring them to other specialisms such as orthopaedic surgery, radiology, neurology, internal medicine, immunology, oncology, angiology, cardiology, endocrinology, and so on.

Rheumatology is the discipline that brings everything together and offers treatment and monitoring together with all the other specialisms, but in particular it builds and maintains a strong relationship between the patient and their GP.

Since I started practising, I’ve developed expertise in caring for rheumatological conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, chronic pain and osteoporosis.

As a rheumatologist, I also often care for patients who have had orthopaedic surgery or have undergone traumas that require a bespoke course of physiotherapy.
