CT SCAN

The Institute of Medical Imaging at Clinique de Genolier is equipped with an up-to-date 256 slice CT scanner which enables examinations to be carried out with a weak dose of radiation (two to five times less than was previously normal). This technique also uses x-rays to obtain sectional images and create multiplanar reconstructions in 2D or 3D of the whole body.

This technique is used often for the monitoring of cancer, research into the pathology of infections and cardiovascular diseases but also for carrying out check-ups.
