RADIOLOGY AND NUCLEAR MEDICINE
Nowadays medical imaging is a central element in general medicine and in most medical and surgical specialties. The Genolier Clinic is one of the pioneers in this field and has made important investments to bring the technical level of the Institute of Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine to a higher level.
The Institute of Medical Imaging now has 6 radiologists,1 nuclear doctor,15 medical radiation technologists (MRT) and 9 secretaries. The radiology service is digitalised, it occupies 11 examination rooms. The results are transmitted on CD-Rom.
The following services are available to patients:
- Conventional direct digital imaging
- Ultrasound (echography)
- CT scan
- MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
- Female imaging
- Interventional radiology
Within the framework of its Institute of Medical Imaging, the Genolier Clinic has a Nuclear Medicine unit with a doctor who is a specialistin this area and a technical team comprising of 3 MRTs.
This unit is made up of 3 assigned rooms, each of which offers patients a specific technology:
- Bone densitometry (mineralometry)
- Nuclear Medicine (scintigraphy)
- PET CT
