CONVENTIONAL DIRECT DIGITAL IMAGING
Conventional imaging is understood as carrying out the radiology clichés by means of x-rays to visualise the thorax, the abdomen, the joints or other bone regions. The radiologist administers a contrast medium for digestive examination and injects this intraarticularly for arthrographies.
The Institute of Medical Imaging has the necessary equipment for the digital elaboration of a panorama dental x-ray system and works in collaboration with the Dental Clinic at Genolier and the maxillofacial surgery clinic.
The images are obtained using direct digitalisation and can be seen on a computer screen.
